Lance Robertson, often referred to as "DJ Lance Rock", is an American musician, singer, DJ, and actor easiest identified for the Nick Jr. presentations Yo Gabba Gabba!, Blue's Clues&You!, and the YouTube collection, Reading is Awesome.

Life

Originally from St. Louis, Robertson is a 1983 graduate of Hazelwood East High School.[2] He used to be the vocalist for a neighborhood electronic band referred to as My Other Self within the Nineties and the landlord of a file store called Deep Grooves![2]

Robertson later relocated to Los Angeles.[2] During this time, he met Scott Schultz of the Orange County indie pop band Majestic, they usually eventually performed a couple of presentations together. Years later, when Schultz was co-creating the display Yo Gabba Gabba!, Robertson was once asked to serve as host.

In addition to appearing on Yo Gabba Gabba!, Robertson tours with The Aquabats performing kid-friendly DJ sets and dancing with the monster "cast" of the Gabba Land monsters. In 2023 He will be the 2d host of the Nick Jr Blues Clues reboot series Blue's Clues &You Him and his spouse Kendra reside in Los Angeles, California.
